The Chase...

So many times you see players chasing "The Dream." The reality is most players will never play basketball professionally. It's really an addiction. Once you fall in love with the game you can't turn back, it's in your blood. You may take breaks and try other things, but there is always something that draws you back to that ball hitting nothing but nylon. The sound of the sneakers burning rubber against the hard wood. The smell of musky gyms. It's all addicting. Players that truly love the game know of all these nostalgic explanations.

Bodies begin to break down, families have to be taken care of, the dream feels distant. So many players suffer from this same thing, families and friends telling them it's just a game you have to grow up now. What people don't understand is this game is who we are. It taught us about life. Without it we feel a huge gap in our lives. So yeah we may move on, we may get other jobs, we may act like we don't miss it. Just know anyone that has played and loves the game will always have a piece of their heart devoted to that orange halo, the white thread, and the cow hide globe.

This game never gets old to us. We love it!

Utah Jazz

So the jazz won their first pre-season game last night against the lakers. Not that it really means anything but I can't wait for the season to start this is what I live for. Ronnie Brewer looks like he has improved so much. I really think he is going to break out this season. Of course Boozer is hurt before the season starts. If you ask me I think we should get rid of him and start Paul Millsap but thats me. My goal this season is not to miss a single game so far Im 100%. Tomorrow we play the suns in another pre-season and I think I am going. I will keep you posted. This picture was from last year in the playoffs when we played the lakers just so you know

Golfing

I went golfing with the boys the other day. I usually suck really bad but did alright this time. Usually I just try to crush the ball but this time I was just trying to hit the ball. I had fun I only lost a couple balls in the water instead of about 10 like usual.

New Studio!

I decided that I needed to move my studio. I was in a very dark room with very little lighting and found myself not wanting to go down there anymore. So I moved it to the living room in the basement. It has much more light and I am really enjoying it today. In the first pictures you can see I have put up my works of art. The two recliners are so I can watch tv while eating lunch down here. I put my art table in between the computer/printer and the tv so if I need to work on the printer or the computer its close by. The tv is close by so I can watch it also while painting. I just love the new studio. I think where you have your studio and the setting has a lot to do with your creativity and mindset. In the other room I just left all my art piled up and didn't get to enjoy it. I think hanging it up helps with my creativity and gives me more Ideas. Tell me what you think about my studio and ways you would make mine or yours better.
